I was raised on a farm in Burna, KY (Livingston County) where my parents, Paul and Peggy Fraliex, still live. I graduated with honors from Livingston Central High School in 1993. I attended Paducah Community College and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Murray State University in December 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with an area in Accounting. I earned my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) distinction in 1998. I worked for an accounting firm in Murray, KY until the time my husband and I had our first daughter, Danielle, at which time I left public work to be a stay-at-home Mom. Since that time I have operated my own CPA business out of our home in Graves County, KY. My husband, Jim Whitaker, is a Graves County native and teaches Math at Graves County High School. We have three beautiful daughters - Danielle, Nicole and Emilie. We are also very active in our church, Northside Baptist in Mayfield.
